This is a matter of personal choice and should no law, religion, moral body, or any other entity should interfere with a decision to die. Of course, this assumes the choice is made by one with a rational state of mind, and with sound reason.

We must do this! Why should anyone have to suffer when there are ways to end life with gentle kindness?

Having first hand experience with euthanasia in animal medicine, I believe that a dignified death, free from strenuous suffering, is the last great gift we can give the ones we love.

This end of life decision should be mine to make . It also should be possible for family to assist you when that time comes.

This is the most ethical. law that should be passed to a terminal person not to have to suffer.

As a person with MS, the Death with Dignity act is a priority to me. I do not think that it is appropriate that any other person can tell me how much suffering I must live with. Should the time come that my suffering is so bad that my quality of life is no longer worth living I would absolutely appreciate the basic human right of making a humane and compassionate choice in how my life is to end. I am a Christian and I am absolutely a supporter of the Death with Dignity act.

The fact that this is something that we have to fight for is beyond my belief. It should be a basic human right to make the decision to end one's life in a humane and compassionate way-,the same way we do for our pets.
