Everyone needs freedom and control to make such a choice as it gives great peace of mind.

I am 49 yrs old and I have a very progressive form of ALS and I will eventually be suffering (sooner then later) due to this horrific, scarry terminal disease. How dare anyone tell me I that I don't have the right to end my suffering.

People suffering from a terminal illness, should have the right to choose a dignified death without suffering.

Another reason to keep the Church out of government. A right to die is a personal choice decided upon your own religious beliefs. That is how freedom of religion is supposed to work, not mandated by government

I support the death with dignity act because I cannot and have not ever been able to support myself and pay my financial obligations, medical,or financial and therefore declare myself a liability to my country and fellow country citizens

This a right of anyone suffering from terminally ill people and it is time for Florida to acknowledge and pass this bill. After 4 1/2 of fighting brain cancer (My doctors have been very upfront and saying, there is no remission for brain cancer). So as continue battling the disease, it is the after math and residuals from my operation, which was never told prior, but have to deal with that as well. It's inhumane to push to keep patients going, under false pretenses.

Please pass this on...it's a shame watching a loved one, with no hope, suffering.

I wouldn't want to be a burden to my family should I become disabled and/or significantly ill. I would like to retain my autonomy and continue to exercise my rights in a dignified humane manner. To me it would be the best gift...

After watching my grandfather suffer through his last few weeks of life i always swore I would never watch anyone I love go through that again. I would never let myself go through that knowing my friends and family have to watch me suffer. Everyone should have the right to choose.

I agree with the Death with Dignity Act. People should have the right to decide on whether or not to utilize such an option.
