This is a petition to Flintshire County Council housing department to stop Flintshire County Council evicting a 62 year old grandmother who was recently widowed less than a month ago! A ridiculous law which prevents a council house being passed down to a family member more than once. Alan Williams who recently passed away suddenly had been in the Council property since 1992, when he solely took over the tenancy agreement. Alan's widowed wife Lynne has recently applied to take up the tenancy agreement after Alan's sudden passing less than a month ago to be told that she may be evicted due to the house already being passed down once. This is a terrible judgement by the local authority for a woman who has already had to deal with too much heartache as the house holds many memories for the whole family. We need as many signatures as possible to try to change a decision which will cause so much heartache for this family. Please spare a couple of minutes of your time to sign this petition which could help prevent this injustice happening to a family who have already been to hell and back recently.
