Απευθυνόμαστε στους Έλληνες που μένουν στο Εδιμβούργο. Όπως γνωρίζουμε, τη μοναδική απευθείας πτήση Εδιμβούργου Αθήνα την έχει η Easyjet. Αυτό το μονοπώλειο της έχει δώσει την δυνατότητα αυξήσει τις τιμές της σε μεγάλο βαθμό.
Στην εικόνα βλέπετε την τιμή για να πετάξεις για Αθήνα μια μέρα πριν τα Χριστούγεννα. Η τιμή είναι 265 λίρες. Το screenshot αυτό τραβήχτηκε στις 19 Απριλίου, δηλαδή 8 μήνες πριν τη πτήση! Πιστεύουμε ότι η τιμολόγηση αυτή προκύπτει από την έλλειψη ανταγωνισμού για αυτό το δρομολόγιο. Κατά τη γνώμη μας υπάρχει χώρος για άλλη μια αεροπορική εταιρία.
Με τις υπογραφές σας θα αποδείξουμε ότι είμαστε πολλοί που είμαστε διατεθειμένοι να στηρίξουμε μία εναλλακτική της Easyjet. Τα στοιχεία αυτά σκοπεύουμε να τα παρουσιάσουμε σε αεροπορικές μήπως καταφέρουν οι αριθμοί αυτοί να προσελκύσουν κάποια από αυτές.

I have been reading your stories about how much you miss home and the impossible costs of visiting your families. Seeing these numbers grow gives us a real case to show other airlines that this route is worth their investment.

Seeing the flood of comments about how often you all travel back home makes the struggle with these ticket prices feel much less isolating. It is clear that we are tired of feeling trapped by this monopoly and I am already looking into how to best present our collective need to the other airlines.

το μονοπώλιο πρέπει να σταματήσει γιατι η εκμετάλλευση έχει ξεπεράσει τα όρια προ πολλού. Ακομη και πολυ καιρό πριν να κλείσεις οι τιμές ειναι στα ύψη και οι μερες/ ώρες άβολες.
I've been living almost a year in Edinburgh and I have never flown with Easyjet to Athens. And I'm not willing to do so anyway. I remember, while I was looking for tickets to Greece for Xmas 2015, I bumped on ticket prices of £500 approx. It's ridiculous, considering it was two months in advance. Paying that amount of money for travelling within Europe does not make any sense. Thus, I used other airlines via London, which actually made my trip cheaper by almost £250, which is still high, but I wasn't exploited at least by Easyjet's monopoly.
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland it is unacceptable to have just one company that flies twice per week direct to Greece-Athens. The majority of us prefer to travel, edinburgh->london->athens.
Way too high prices for a flight booked so short in distance and time. Also since it's mainly occupated by students, it makes going back home a luxury, something I believe is unacceptable
I totally agree with the petition. Easy jet claim to be a low budget company which is what made then appealing to Greeks living in Edinburgh. However, in the last 3-4 years prices are similar or even higher than other companies reaching the ridiculous amount of £450-500 for a less than 4 h flight. It is time to change this!
I travel to greece 4-5 times a year.
I fly between Edinburgh-Athens 3-5 times per year. Friends and relatives fly also frequently.

I go back to Greece 3 times per year. i would go more if tickets were cheaper and there was one more direct flight that would allow us to go for a long weekend and not a whole week.
