Its all about the environment and wild life because we know from experience that change such as water impacts all wildlife as we know it because it changes their life in seeking out food

Nature adapted to the presence of the dam long ago, it is irresponsible to upset the current ecological conditions without considering the potential consequences.

How about some MAINTENANCE? Leave the dam, people in the area have invested in the area that offers wildlife. You can’t just tear it down.

This is a huge attraction in the summer months. The businesses near Huroc Park would suffer, the homes on the river would be less appealing, and summer activities in the area would halt.

I live right off of the river where this dam removal would significantly Impact the surrounding wildlife as well as the local areas surrounding the Huron so many people enjoy, adding a fishway is a no brainer to save quality of life to the local cities.

The dam helps with the flooding. Tearing it down would allow the river to flood.

Grew up across the street from River on WHuron River Dr. Flat Rock. Used it for swimming, fishing, ice skating. Please leave it alone.

The dam was built in 1921 by Ford to improve the water and to provide power for the plant. There is a historical marker. Why can't it be used for renewable energy for the citizens of flatrock?
