The Veteran Canteen service hires you with one aspect in mind. And the. You get on the job and it's something totally different.. I really wish that it would be fixed from the top all the way down to the dish washer. There is no reason that a chief or assistant chief should be in the kitchen cooking every day of the week for the past month and a half.! This is ridiculous. And the hours are too long as well...
I'm head cook at the Fort Wayne, IN VCS. We're treated like garbage, we have am assist manager who is a bully and makes scenes and argues with Customers and makes us reheat the food more than once and knows nothing about the job. So, yes. Some support would be a welcomed thing.
I've been assaulted by a supervisor there and put under constant stress from another who has illegally assigned fellow coworkers to keep an eye on me
Descrimination, bad treatment like supids, over time unrecognized, constant threats by Supervisors, Supervisors not cualified, employees's lackers garbage room. not report of employees'work accidents, harrassments, VCS # 546 Miami
I worked as Chief of Canteen in Long Beach for many years! I can answer anyone's request for information!

the place is a nightmare to work at. New boss at least every year but none of them know what the heck they are doing . Our current boss is not even authorized to get into oracle files and the assistant manager isn't either. Treat all employees like dirt.
