The state finally committed to redesigning the S-curve. This win belongs to everyone who backed the campaign and kept the pressure on officials until they took action. Keep an eye on the construction plans to ensure they finish the work properly.
The momentum behind fixing this dangerous curve is undeniable and it proves that our community refuses to accept these preventable accidents any longer. Take the link to your Facebook page right now and tag your local representatives to ensure they see this growing demand for action. Text the link to three people who drive this route daily to keep the pressure on.

I am a professional CDL holder and our terminal is off Pearce Blvd in wentzville. I have seen many issues and accidents at this curve especially with lots of rain. I think it would serve a great cause to address this issue and save some lives. Thank you

This is an extremely dangerous spot, especially having two exits in close proximity. Straighten the road out and make it 3 (or even 4) lanes! Wentzville's infrastructure is 15 years behind. We're about to hit, if we haven't already, 40,000 people.

This is a very dangerous stretch of the highway. You have Hwy 70 just going down to 2 lanes with another major highway (40/61) merging at the same time. Lots of heavy traffic congestion with people changing lanes which are very narrow to begin with.

Yes, this is very dangerous something needs to be done I don't like driving on it and have 3 teenagers that drive it makes me really scared of something happening and most people are not paying real attention there is just to much traffic at that point!!

My little brother died under the train tracks there. I was a school bus driver that traveled that stretch of highway for years and have seen many, many accidents at that spot. Very dangerous! Please fix so no other family has to suffer like ours has.

My friend's brother was killed on this curve last year and I had also had very close call years ago while driving through after a storm. So much water gathered there causing a tidal wave over my car, loosing all viability for 5 entire seconds!
