It’s not just waste the kids’ time, parents’s time, teachers’s time, it’s also dangerous for the kids to wait by themselves for the bus to come, then after get off from a late school bus, other drivers are not paying that much attention to kids cross the street also.
The bus is always delayed for more than 30 minutes every day. Students are losing instruction time, and safety is an issue when they have to stand outside on the streets for too long.
I want my child to be able to be in her 1st period class on time. I don't like how the buses are not on time and how kids (some of them with instruments) have to squish their bodies to fit all the kids in on the bus. Some kids even have to sit on the floor. That is NOT safe. Making kids wait outside for their buses, especially in Texas, is intolerable.
I have two sons who go to Pattison elementary. I had to spend over one hour a day to wait the school bus for a week!! Many families have hard time becuase the school bus comes late in the morning and in the afternoon. Please solve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you.
This is an absolute absurdity. My child who is in McMean JH has been spending more than 1 hour in each day waiting for the bus. Katy ISD need to either change the bus schedule or to hire more bus drivers.
Please take care if bus problem.
Has the problem been fixed? I know that the bus was on time this morning to Green Trails.

The school bus has been late everyday in the morning and afternoon. As the best school district in Houston even are not able to provide a functional transportation system to meet the essential that the students are on time for school. The KISD management appear not responsive to the issue.
