We need a real improvement to highway 380 now. The stop lights and people turning in front of you make it slow and dangerous to get where you need to go.
We agree with Collin County that 380 should be improved as much as possible as soon as possible. Use the existing right of way, and build up or down as necessary to make 380 an efficient highway that serves the citizens instead of wasting our time.
The City of Princeton should get on board with the plan to remove the stop lights from 380 and build a modern highway.

Altering highway 380 seems like the most logical solution by far. As stated by Collin County judge Keith Self, "Right of way costs would be less, environmental costs would be less, and it would affect the fewest citizens." It's time to start using common sense and look for ways to expedite projects while curtailing unnecessary expenditures.
Major accidents and fatalities along route US 380 in Princeton are now a monthly occurrence and have increased in direct proportion to the increased development occuring in this area. As the rate of this growth is only increasing, it is only logical to conclude the situation will only get worse. The city of Princeton needs to get on board with the Collin County to improve 380 and make it safer. That is the primary function of any governmental entity: the safety of it's citizens.

We need action NOW. Children, parents, loved ones are dying weekly.
Tragic accidents, causing critical injuries and fatalities are occurring at an alarming rate. PLEASE take action to protect our families.
There practically an accident a day from Princeton to McKinney and several inside Princeton city limits. We've lost children and parents inside this city on this road. This shouldn't happen.

Lived in Princeton Meadows since 2004. The City is always behind on these issues because of issues related to commercial development. 380 through the city limits is, and has been for some time, dangerous. Please move this planning and implementation forward.
