As an angler buddy recently said: "Mate, you can't expect me to travel with just my fishing rod!" Airlines these days are counting a fishing rod, which weighs a few ounces, as one piece of luggage, and charging exorbitant fees in extra baggage fees. On the other hand, golf bags, which weigh as much a suitcase are exempt in name of a sporting good. This is atrocious! Please sign up if you think a fishing rod case or tube should be exempted as extra baggage.
