please help protect all our pets dogs, cats, horses etc from fireworks and not forgetting our wonderful veterans suffering post traumatic stress disorder . We need changes !! , laws that protect us all .. At the moment what animal welfare laws we have are not acted on, and people just do what they want when they want regardless of the consequences to others . I have been left with large vet bills and terrified horses . Will it take a death before anything is done !! please support this petition

My small dog suffers terribly when there are fireworks; the noise terrifies her and the impact can last for days. I will have to visit my vet this week to request something to sedate her, which isn't fair to her. Please consider only allowing silent fireworks and / or banning private displays.
Not only animals suffer, veterans and small children too. What's so wrong with silent fireworks, or at least giving warning to others when doing a private display??
Fireworks should be banned other than 4th of July
I love fireworks but I love the pretty colors if we could just stop the NOISE or at least be more cautious around animals and VETERANS also sometimes have PTSD from the NOISE. There has to be a better way. My .99 cents (FWIW)

The Law needs to be changes so people can be warned so their loved ones can be protected.
Couldn't agree more! I hate seeing my two dogs, or any animal in such distress due to loud Fireworks! Don't get me wrong I love fireworks. I truly believe they can still be just as beautiful without the noise.

I would like to see silent fireworks being used for most displays I struggle with some of the bangs myself but I can't explain to my horses what's going on!! This year we have a feral kitten too!! Organized displays only its not as expensive to go to one as it is to buy your own! Maybe silent only for private displays?!
