Small communities depend on the expertise of these volunteers. The fact that the union is doing this is disgusting!

We are with you Mandy! Stay the course, you should not be punished for being dedicated to helping others the way you do!

Charging "double hatters" is ridiculous. I don't see the issue with firefighters volunteering in their own communities. They're doing something good for the community and they are highly qualified to do so. They're saving lives. I don't understand how this is against "the rules". Drop the charges. You're wasting valuable resources on such a silly complaint.

We need to support the right for our firefighters to do what they choose in their free time. Especially if it is volunteering in their own community.

We should be so grateful for these men and women who give up their free time to protect our neighbourhoods. Why do small communities not deserve the same qualified professionals as the larger cities? Time for change!!!!

Firemen and women are proud and dedicate time and life to work. They should be proud to serve in their hometowns and assist the dedicated volunteer firemen that juggle home, work and volunteer hours for little or no pay. Isn't right to teach and give something back to your community, no-one is forcing these firemen to work extra and volunteer their time.

So thankful we have so many highly skilled firefighters in Inglewood and that these full-time firefighters take the time to give back to their communities in their free time.

This harrassment of Firefighters in Ontario must stop. They are only trying to help their rural communities and neighbours

It is ridiculous that the union won't allow professionals to voluntarily protect us.

what they do in their own time should be their own time to do what they want!

No organization should dictate how you spend your time off work.

In their spare time they should be able to volunteer at whatever they want!
