Fire Mike Holmgren of the Seattle Seahawks
Mike Holgren came to Seattle promising a winning team and everything he could do to win a Super Bowl. He has failed. He has overrated himself as a General Mananger and perhaps as a coach. He has overreated the talent he has assembled on his team. I say his team because he\'s had four years to mold it to his liking. Dennis Erikson was fired after four years of coaching this team, even though he posted a better record over that time. Mike Holmgren\'s ego has hurt this team too many times. It is my hope that by firing Mike Holmgren the Seahawks can get this team headed in the right direction. Seattle fans are sick of supporting a losing team and if this team continues to struggle we may stop supporting them all together. What a shame that would be after we tax payer just paid hundreds of millions of dollars to fund a beautiful new stadium. I believe Randy Mueller would be an excellent General Manager. He grew up in the Seahawks organization and did a wonderful job with the Saints and when he was the VP of Football Operations while Dennis Erikson was the coach. In my personal opinion, I feel Dennis Erikson would be a good coaching candidate. I feel when he was here he didn\'t really get a fair shot. I do realize however that the chances of that happening are slim to none. My ultimate goal though is to have Mike Holmgren replaced.
