After a disasterous 2008 season, many assumed that 2009 would be better for the Seattle Seahawks. That isn't the case, however. After seeing this team playing uninspired football and losing by double digits on the road and at home certain games, I realized that this team needs to be scrapped. While I cannot weed out the players that are dogging it, I can identify who is to blame for this debacle: Jim Mora Jr, Gregg Knapp, and Gus Bradley. I realized that a team only plays well when they are inspired by their coaching staff. Quite frankly, I've seen none of that this season. Every week, this fanbase must endure the excuse of "we'll try harder" or "we're gonna keep scratching and clawing." If you truly believe that Jim, then do it when you're down 17-0 instead of putting it off until next week. The Seahawks are a better team than this and its fans deserve better. While I am one for giving people a chance, in this instance I simply cannot. I do not want to go through 2010 down this same road again. I don't want the remnants of some washed up 2004-2006 Atlanta Falcons staff. I want a staff that CONSISTANTLY WINS!!! Whether it be Bill Cowher, Mike Shanahan, or whoever, I want a proven coach who is competent and won't dish out ra-ra speeches or piss-poor excuses to the media. While I don't know what the Seahawks plans are regarding Mora for next season, I for one will not stand by waiting to see what will happen. I'm sorry Jim. As much as I admire your passion and love for this team, it simply isn't getting the job done. Seahawks fans, if you truly belive Mora isn't the answer, please sign this petition. You and I are the only ones that can make a case here. The time to act is now!
