I am honestly overwhelmed by the stories you have been sharing about how much you miss these quiet evenings in your own yards. It is clear that this is about more than just fire pits because it is really about the simple freedom to enjoy our homes after a long day. I am currently gathering information on the bylaws in neighboring towns so we can present a fair and reasonable case to the council.

I truly never imagined that so many neighbors felt the same way about enjoying our own backyards. This momentum belongs entirely to all of you who stepped up to speak your mind.

Common sense please. Just keep it contained and dont be stupid about it. Everyone else does it anyways.
My kids love s'mores and it is such a nice way to spend a friday night. Why is there even a rule against this in our own backyards? Ridiculous.
