What amenities are we paying for? Why are we paying the amount we are when it cannot be answered what we are paying for?
There needs to be more transparency. We should not have to pay for a contractor/ engineering mistake with the drainage ditch. Why are we being held accountable and being forced to pay this extra money?

Our HOA fees are ridiculous. The other Eagle Canyon HOA’s pay way less per year. Not sure what the difference is, neighborhoods look exactly the same to me.

When I moved here, the HOA fees were 10 dollars per YEAR. I am not understanding why the fee has increased.

They have been “managing” our HOA since 2002, it’s time to shop around for other companies. There are better ones out there. No reason they should have this much control over our HOA.

Assessment keep increasing for what? Calle de la Plata is a mess, dead plants everywhere, lawns are in poor shape, the burned fence has not been cleaned up or repaired. I vote to FIRE Equus management and to bring in a HOA that is responsive, has reasonable fees, and is NOT degrading to questions asked.

I agree we need a new management company. The money paid to the HOA for maintenance of the surrounding area has been mismanaged. Landscaping within the Eagle Canyon North area along Calle de la Plata is dying, burning, and torn up without repair. Irrigation has been broken and dug up in portions of the landscaping along the street for many months with no resolution. Maintenance of the existing drainage system should be handled by the regular HOA fees as this is and has been a known function of the HOA since it's inception. Maintenance of drainage systems should not need to be handled by multiple additional assessments per year with no quick resolution. I expect results for paying extra HOA fees, not a letter of excuses blaming others for why the project is not complete along with a notice for additional fees. We are not receiving the value we should be getting out of the HOA.

can we as homeowners totally disband the HOA, are they raising the quarterly HOA fee, and if so, why, when we gave them $ 500 to have plenty of reserves, and are they assessing another special assessment fee? i hope not

They told me these assessments reserve fees we've paid this year was a one time only fee, looks like they are going to charge us again next year.

I agree, they should be replaced. The fees just continue to rise and I am not seeing anything for where I live in the neighborhood. My friend who lives two streets away is in the original Eagle Canyon HOA and her dues are $60 twice a year (I believe).
