I worry most about the scrub palms 3/4 dried to the bottom. Owners need to trim or cut. Otherwise their torches. Not trimmed, warnings, then fined.

Unfortunately COSCA is not taking responsibility and says there is no need for more brush clearance! The residents of TO need to demand more action regarding updating fire mitigation regulations which haven't been revised since 1991!!!!

We need more clearance above North Valley. The last major fire impacted our homes and burned right up at least one home. Fortunately the fire department was on site and was able to prevent it from destroying any homes. I suggest that either COSCA does it or gives permission to Northgate HOA to do the clearance. Thank you for your time.

I live right behind the hill on hillcrest that caught on fire. I'm having trouble getting homeowners insurance because of it. I have lived in my home for thirty years. Cut the damn weeds.

The "Hillcrest Open Space Assn." Hillside, which is immediately adjacent to our "Northgate Condos" complex needs to trim back the over 7' weeds which cover the hillside now, after the "Woolsey Fire" blazed through Nov., 2018, and came so close to us!

We need brush clearance 1000 feet from property lines, fire roads and fire breaks. COSCA is now a threat to public safety for its failure to address these obvious fire dangers!

Please keep our neighborhoods safe and do the right thing by clearing all the dry, dead brush that will catch fire quickly and ultimately destroy our homes.

Please help us with the abatement problem above our homes in the Kevington area. I did the actual weed whacking etc. on my property that Backs up to the open space areas. It took me almost 90 hours of work to do that. I am a senior citizen. I think that you should be able to put a little more effort in and not lean on the possible legalities. Thank you, Stephen Cook.

Most of us were very lucky to still have a house after the 2018 files. Our house was saved due to the heroic efforts of the fire department, who worked on fighting the fire from our back yard for 1.5 hours. Without their efforts, my and several of my neighbors would have lost their house. Luck is not an effective plan. Thousand Oaks needs better weed abatement on the open space lands.

We demand at least a 200ft. clearance away from our neighborhood of all the dried brush on the open space now, not after the fact. This should have been learned after what we went through two years ago!
