The government shut down will impact everyone. From the price of gas, food, health insurance, loan rates etc. It's already impacting these area, Social Security, Travel Abroad, Recreation, Federal Taxes, Medicare, Veteran Affair's Care, Federal Judiciary, Health Services, Federal Employees and Contractors, Loan applications. There is 800,000 to 1 million employees that have already been impacted by the government shutdown and as of today will go without pay. So why not fine congress and the house senators a fee for every day during the government shutdown, after all they are still being paid, why the rest of our families goes without. Maybe If we start to impact their pockets then it will prevent any future shutdown. After all we are still paying Federal Taxes, to a government that is shut down and causing 800,000-1million to go without income. We elect these people into office and we pay their salary its time they start doing the work we the people want, not what the want.
