Sign up to show your support and concern in finding the root cause of at least a dozen cases of Ocular Melanoma (a rare cancer) which have occurred near Hopewell High School. Let's insist that CMS Leadership and the Town of Huntersville fully comply with independent researchers to identify this disease.

I am very much in favor of environmental testing at Hopewell high school for the welfare of all students and faculty. How can CMS turn their backs on this issue???

Ask the students to get you samples. The CMS board and Hopewell principal are terrible to work with. Kids would gladly help.

This is getting more scary as we go on! I think at least 4 people on this petition alone ALSO have OM! Folks, this is a VERY rare disease. Something is wrong!

I am supporting this petition. I am also encouraging CMS to allow testing on the Hopewell campus immediately. The Town Leadership & CMS should comply with the independent researchers.

As an individual myself with Ocular Melanoma, I am just infuriated that the officials in this community are not moving heaven and earth to get to the root of this problem!!!! Maybe if it was one of their family members who were just DX with Ocular Melanoma themselves, then a year later they were told it had spread to their liver. Then finally told them they have 6months tops to get their affairs in order. Maybe then they would push their beauricratic red tape B.S to the side and figure this out! !! Only approximately 1 in 5 million are DX with O.M and Huntersville has had 12 cases!!!! IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT THERE IN HUNTSVILLE!!! Although apparently it may take a village to push for RESOLVE!!!!

Don't stop fighting. Demand FDA and EPA studies. Do NOT allow local and State officials to block your rights.

I'm from NJ and SC and I also have ocular melanoma. Please help find a possible cause for this rare disease. More studies need to be done.
