Active Stirling have worked with Learning disability students at CBD for several years and have brought Multi sports to many young adults, to break the relationships and end this great partnership is beyond reason. Shame on the council for even considering another provider. Our students would be devastated.

Please, please reconsider awarding this contract to a national company who have profitability as their main motivation. Active Stirling have provided both me and my family with fabulous courses and facilities for many years.

Luxury Lives are not being awarded the contract. Luxury Lives currently reside in Forthbank Stadium and it is a small business offering spa type therapy and beauty treatments. Samantha who owns Luxury lives recognised the council were offering the contract to an English based company and it was likely she would get pushed out of her premises while the new contractor take her client base away from her. Active Stirling not only encourage sports but have encouraged the growth of small business in the community. She therefor pulled this petition together to make sure all the community were aware as to what the council were about to do as the impact will be felt for the next 25 years and Samantha together with Clive Ramsay could lose the business they have built up.

Active Stirling have created a vibrant sports centre enjoyed by so many. Why jeopardise that?

I attend active Stirling classes for seniors at Mayfield centre. I understand that these are not guaranteed under the proposed contract with Luxury Lives Spa. Why are the council contemplating awarding this contract to a company based in London who jave no commitment to assisting the seniors of Stirling in their attempts to keep fit and active?

I believe Active Stirling are doing a first class job. This appears like an expensive action with no basis for change.

Active Stirling play a vital role in helping villages in the rural area provided sporting activities, where access to proper sporting facilities are at best very limited and in some cases non-existent.

Active Stirling have been excellent in their management of the Peak, I want to see them continuing in this role.
