Promoting health and well being to all locals is vital. Active Stirling work closely to deliver activities and sports to rural schools with limited facilities. Where is the evidence of public consultation surrounding this proposed change in delivery of provision??
without this facility being with active Stirling I would never have entered a gym, but by the GP referral scheme I have helped my arthritis and COPD conditions- Stirling needs this for the community not a private concern, lots of them around already
Active Stirling helped me physically, socially and mentally, as a first time mum moved to a new place. They do a good job serving the community and should continue to do so building on their knowledge and expertise from over the years.
The objectives of any commercial enterprise cannot possibly meet the best interests of the community, currently served incredibly well by Active Stirling, and satisfy shareholders. The Peak is a huge success because of Active Stirling.
I use The Peak and my wife uses Luxury Lives both provide an excellent service. This move by Stirling Council is motivated by money and not the wellbeing of the community. Don't make changes that will be detrimental to people's livelihood.
aways stay with the people that have given good service.
I support Active stirling in the tender fight & also their commitment to local activities events /days through schools & local disability organisations

I worked in local primary schools in a very deprived area and know the fantastic job Active Stirling are doing to encourage children and adults to become more active. We need to keep this service for local people and the local community.
