Active Stirling has done a brilliant job so far and the facilities they offer at The Peak has helped me and my family to get involved in fitness for the first time in our lives, really. It would be a massive disappointment if it were to change for the worse in any way.

Many people from all over Stirling work for Active Stirling, this big company may say jobs are safe, but are they actually. Save active Stirling please.

Active Stirling all the way, a not for profit organisation, and to choose a company that has to register as a charity to take over, really! what are our council thinking about! Look at what Active Stirling have done, setup the community classes, more classes being added all the time. Their commitment to involving the community is amazing.
Yet they are prepared to put it in the hands of a distance company with KPI's to be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Staff although seem to be safe, in most cases will be at first but my own experience with this process tells me that they may be at risk not long after the changes.
Placing a 25 year contract seems completely foolish. I certainly hope that those businesses that are part of this are kept on supporting their local heritage. Instructors are some of the best in the country, they almost certainly are the reason that most of the classes are full.
I fully support Active Stirling and will be behind them all the way.
Please make the right decision.

I use The Peak and my wife uses Luxury Lives both provide an excellent service. This move by Stirling Council is motivated by money and not the wellbeing of the community. Don't make changes that will be detrimental to people's livelihood.

Once again an example of poor judgement by a local authority.
