I've been a member for over 6 years and the Peak provides a great venue for fitness and sports. The staff @ instructors all do an amazing job and would hate if this changed. It's like a big, friendly family.

Shame on Stirling Council, it is shocking that the Labour Party are behind the outsourcing and privatising of Active Stirling. I would ask all Stirling Labour Party members to deselect any Labour councillors that vote this through.

It would a terrible decision to move the contract away from Active Stirling. Whilst not perfect, they endeavour to bring high quality, accessible exercise to the community. Our children take part in several of their classes at the peak and we rate them highly. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, have great relationships with the kids and listen and act on feedback. The buggy walks run by active Stirling are of huge benefits to new mums who can be left isolated at this point in their lives. Please vote to keep the contract with them.

The peak is an excellent council service and does so much for the children and adults of Stirling and surrounding areas. If privatised costs will increase so much that most will not afford it

The peak is a fantastic place, it is the best council run sports facility in the Stirlingshire Area. It would be a big mistake to take the management of this facility out of the hands of A time Stilrling.

Along with managing community sports' clubs, fitness classes, outdoor activities & linking schools with local clubs, Active Stirling has successfully managed the Peak for years. Yes, like any other leisure facility, they have been faced with challenges. However, with several years of experience behind them now, they are quick to respond & correct these "challenges", & if something isn't easily corrected, they have the confidence of the public who trust AS in having things up & running quickly again...or thinking outside of the box to come up a temporary solution until all is 100%.

An absolute disgrace to remove the contract from Active Stirling. They have the community at heart. My children have accessed many of the sports on offer over the last 10 years either directly or via school clubs run in conjunctionwith AS. The school holiday camps are also fantastic with enthusiastic coaching. Hard to believe that the Council are even contemplating ending the current status.

I believe Active Stirling have done a great job in Stirling - from the after - schools programmes through P7 transition sessions, the Peak classes and management and helping local clubs in the community.

Active Stirling have provided an amazing service that is very user responsive and user centred. I can only see a degradation of the facilities and accessibility for all if a private enterprise is brought in to run the sports facilities in Stirling. I dread to think of the negative effect this will have on the long term health of residents in Forth Valley.

Active Stirling provide a facility which is accessible to all. A private company will need to put profit first...

Concerned that Stirling Council are not putting the health and well-being of the Stirling Community before a sellout to a profit making organisation. Active Stirling have done an incredible job in reaching out to a broad range of people across the city creating affordable opportunities for individuals and families to be involved in sporting activities that impact positively on their health. That kind of ethos is needed now more than ever and will not be provided by an organisation whose fundamental aim is to make money.

Save Active Stirling. Buy local!! Don't fob us off with a private company "acting" as a charity. Prices will change, memberships will change, The Peak will change and the public will lose out! Built with tax payers money, run by non-for- profit and and profit made pumped back into the community. Now it will become private and will become greedy- with the public losing out!! KEEP ACTIVE STIRLING!!

Do Stirling Council honestly believe that SLM and Everyone Active the company not charity poised to take over from Active Stirling have a genuine interest in helping Stirling's communities and clubs? Surely they can see they're really only interested in the profit they can make from The Peak and that profit won't go any where near Stirling, Stirling businesses or Stirling people. Not to mention all the people who are based in Stirling and currently work for Active Stirling.

This company is in it to make a pound, will the services be the same or will prices rise?
