I can't find anything anywhere about this company having anything to do with Scotland. It's registered in England and has clubs in England it runs into the ground. Clearly the councillors are getting a nice financial kickback for recommending this. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Shocking.

I wonder who is behind this. It very much feels like the decision has already been made. Someone at the council seems to be pushing to get Active Stirling out. It all seems to be gagged and very underhand. It certainly hasn't been an open process with the best interest of the community at heart. Poor show all round sadly.

My daughter has been taken part in many activities that Active Stirling have been involved with and I feel that they should be owned and run locally to benefit the whole community.

Active Stirling has enabled lots of people with learning disabilities to improve their health. Carers can often go free or at a discount. With the obesity rate higher than ever please don't turn this into simply a money making venture that doesn't care about the customers.

Active Stirling do an amazing job within the Stirling area. It would be catastrophic to sports clubs throughout the region to lose such an asset.

My 16 year old has a great interest in sport and gained confidence taking park in active Stirling activities and I'd like my daughter to have the opportunity to do the same. Stirling apparently achieved city status and yet we can't fund such a valuable service??

We have only been in the area for four years but I have found that, through my involvement with Stirling Bike Club, Stirling Triathlon Club and Stirling Junior parkrun, Active Stirling have done a fantastic job in promoting and supporting all forms of physical activity and long may it continue.

Excellent experience with active stirling over the years. Can't imagine why you'd want to axe a highly respected and successful supplier.

As a local resident a member of Stirling Bike Club and a Coach for Wallace Warriors and Scottish Cycling in youth events I can only express my support for Active Stirling. They are an excellent organisation who are very much in tune with the local sports environment. I would like to see the organisation rewarded by an extension of their contract.

Majority of the beneficiaries of the classes are those over 50's in the long term this will reduce the cost to Sicial Services the NHS and Mental Health.

Active Stirling are a major contributor to the Stirling area promoting active health for all. It will be great loss to Stirling if this charity loses their contract
