The objectives of any commercial enterprise cannot possibly meet the best interests of the community, currently served incredibly well by Active Stirling, and satisfy shareholders. The Peak is a huge success because of Active Stirling.

Active Stirling are a positive force for sport in the Stirling area - being a charity means their goals and motivations are not purely drive by financial greed as would be the case with a purely corporate entity operating in their place. Their goal is to promote the health of the community - not just to maximise profits for their shareholders. I strongly encourage Stirling council to take account of the wider benefits and not just the numbers in front of the accountants.

Active Stirling have been fantastic over the years and need to remain in place to maintain the excellent support they offer for the wider community.

Keep things local. Pathetic that this has been hidden and run through the back door. To be at this stage with no public consultation is ridiculous.
