Its official the petition worked.
A HUGE BIG THANKS GOES TO SAMANTHA HUTCHISON OF LUXURY LIVES SPA SITUATED IN THE FORTHBANK STADIUM WHO PUT HER HEAD ABOVE THE PARAPIT AND TOOK THE WRAP BEFORE OTHERS DECIDED THEY WERE BACKING THE WRONG HORSE!!! WITHOUT THE COMMUNITY EFFORT ACTIVE LIVES WOULD HAVE LOST THEIR CONTRACT - BRILLIANT SO PLEASED FOR ALL OF US PATRONS, STAFF & THE SELF EMPLOYED BUSINESSES.
Active Stirling retain the contract until November where upon they will be set up as a Trust and work directly with Stirling council to keep the complex a community project.
Just hope they don't set them up as a trust so the council can eventually insist on tender processes!!!
Guess we will have to watch this space.

Must keep active Stirling! Great for community, not for new private money grabbing company to put in their on pocket!!!!!
Active Stirling should be for Stirling and surrounding areas helping people into fitness and getting out and about for reasonable price or free!!!
I've been attending classes throughout the past 5years via active Stirling at bannockburn high and mainly at the raploch campus the staff are extremely helpful and encouraging especially Lorna!! Please please keep active Stirling as family's and children will miss out!!!!!!

Can't fault active Stirling , myself & my daughter use the Raploch campus & peak for various classes , they do a brilliant job , the instructors are always on hand

Active Stirling have accrued an excellent reputation for promoting healthy active living for Stirling's population at affordable prices. Privitisation means profit.
