GISD has reported that they will reduce PE to 3 days a week at the Village Elementary beginning the 2012-2013 school year. These changes include reducing ART and MUSIC as well. GISD has reported these changes are directly related to budget cuts. WE AS PARENTS ARE OUR CHILDRENS' BIGGEST ADVOCATES. IT'S TIME WE STAND AND GIVE THEM A VOICE! PLEASE SIGN PETITION TO SUPPORT THE VILLAGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN PREVENT THESE CHANGES.

RIDICULOUS. my kid loves pe class and it helps them focus. dont cut the stuff that actually makes school enjoyable for them.

Kids need to run and play. Taking away gym and art is just wrong. They sit at desks all day as is.
