I'm thrower myself and no one is ablessed to see me throw and neither I can see elite athletes throw in the meetings or big champs. I am not interested in seeing comentators but some action.

Just show the most important athletes in track series and show the race. Not all the interviews and slow motions and victory rounds etc etc. Field atletes deserve the same amount of attention per individual, but most aren't shown at all!

I would like to see more throws and other field events covered by TV. These athletes undergo the same, if not, more training than runners as they have to learn and perfect considerable technical expertise to throw their implement as well as undergo strength and conditioning and speed training.
Bringing the technical expertise, speed and power together to produce great throws is worthy of coverage and deserves a wider audience.

We need to see the field events on TV. It is really bad that we stay up till 2:30 am in the morning to see one discus throw in the Olympics......real Sad!

My daughter is ranked #1 National HS hammer champion. She has made 3 US Teams in the last 2 years. She competes in USATF meets and NSAF and all the rest and has for a number of years. She also throws discus and shot. She has state Championships in discus and more 1st place medals in the 3 events than we can count.
It is very discouraging to me that when she is competing, especially on a national stage, all the track events are covered, but never the throwing. Sometimes they'll cover the boys/men, but RARELY the women- which is another topic altogether.
I urge you all to consider equal time for the field events and the female athletes too! They have a much larger and dedicated fan base than you realize.
