It is time more field events were shown on TV. The athletes train as hard if not harder and deserve to be seen

It's so frustrating to be an athletics fan and not see the field events which show such amazing athletic skills

The TV coverage of field events is an absolute disgrace. I am sick of the interminable re-runs of track events together with the puerile analysis. It is especially galling when we can see live action going on in the background that is clearly being ignored by the broadcaster. We do not have second class events or athletes at our club. everyone is equal.

No one needs a 20 minute discussion about a race - we've just seen it, I'd rather see field events instead.

I throw, my mum throws, my daughter throws and my other daughter jumps, more field would be fab, especially hammer.

I feel the lack of field events shown during transmission times of athletic events is a disrespect to the field athletes.

Far too much talking from the commentary box, very frustrating when you can see events going on in the background but the commentators decide to to talk about re runs from years ago instead of focusing on the actual competition and competitors. Maybe more use of the red button on TV similar to the coverage of the commonwealth games.

Field events should be given equal TV coverage. We need less talk from commentators and more action !!

We are not greedy. Just show the top 3 in each field event.

Field events are thrilling and when Rutherford ,Ennis , or Kat Johnson Thompson are out jumping we sometimes get to see this. Some of the best footage lately is Vinco coverage of ESAA schools hammer comp. amazing! How can you get kids interested in sport when it's not out there!

Field events should be treated on a par with track, they have so much to offer. Commentators need to be knowledgeable to be able to put it a cross in a professional way.
There is also no need for presenters to be continuously telling everybody how good they were when they competed.

BBC have always come up with reasons as to why the status quo cannot change yet when coverage is shown on the Red Button it is instantly better in terms of less chatting and more action.
with knowledgeable commentary
