We the citizens of Mecklenburg County and registered and potential users of its dog parks, petition Mecklenburg Park and Recreation to keep the application, registration, yearly dues and card swipe system in affect at the current dog parks in Mecklenburg county and proposed sites of new dog parks. We feel the system not only keeps our dogs safe, but also helps to reinforce the rules and regulations and keeps members accountable for their actions and the actions of thier dogs. We also feel that without the system the dog park will become harder to monitor and maintain.
