Today at Grays Creek High School I started my period in the middle of class, when I went to the office requesting a tampon they responded by saying they don't provide them, okay whatever no big deal. I then asked if i could have a pad and they responded by saying i would have to PAY!!!!!!! I have already written and sent a strongly worded email to the school board, please sign this petition to help provide a better argument to be provided with CORRECT and FREE feminine products at our school. Thank you :)

Feminine products should be provided at school for free. It's outrageous we have to pay for these things?!?!
This is ridiculous!! Women shouldn't be charged for stuff they can't control. Schools should provide essentials like pads/tampons in the restrooms or nurses office.
These are kids that some may not have money. To make them have to pay for something they can not help is highly unreasonable. Girls are already having a hard time when they get it and all they are asking is that you help take some of the stress off by providing them with a lady product ,because unlike grown women, who have been through this may I add. They can not predict when it is coming, nor should you expect a kid to be prepared. Girls don't want to walk around with those things, unless they have to and not knowing when they have to can hinder them when they first start. I never seen and adult refuse to help a girl with no money at her most vulnerable time. You should really be ashamed of yourselves and work diligently to fix this before you possibly scare a young lady.. you take on the responsibility of a role model, so it's time to start acting like them. Begging for money is not a start. Because if it's not the school system providing them and its any teacher you are feeding your pocket and that is absolutely disgusting and uncalled for .
There should be funding to donate free feminine hygienic products to schools.

its crazy that schools charge for this. i remember sitting in class terrified i was leaking because i forgot mine and the nurse wouldnt help me out. get it together.
