FCA Support For Android Auto/Apple Carplay in UConnect 8.4 2014-2015

I have a 2017 ram an I'm shocked that I don't have it.

I have a 2016 RAM 1500 and not having Apple Carplay or Android Auto (and apparently no designs on adding them) is stunningly poor design and customer support. Apple Carplay and Android Auto need to be added ASAP!

This would be a great move by FCA.

I bought a 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Limited $63K and you guys can't even update the software to include Android Auto? This is my 3rd Ram and my last if you don't fix this!

FCA's stated reason for not upgrading UConnect older than 2016 models is a totally bogus "reason". They are simply being shady with their updates because most customers simply won't know any better and they will just let it slide. FCA just doesn't want to bother. The 2015 UConnect 8.4 in my Durango is more than capable of handling Android Auto because it already does all the stuff it handles now. This situation is just bad customer service FCA! Shame on you all!

Just purchased a new 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk to find out I cant get Android Auto Tried to take the DANG care back and couldnt UGH! Should have got a ford.

Come on FCA, you need to port your software to 2016 at least!

Please provide support for Apple car play. It is rediculous that this is not supported in my 2015 ram.

Wkith no Android Auto and Apple Play in 20 17 I will buy my wife and Hyundai Sport with Turbo vs Cherokee Limited.

As a techie i know the lame excuse of different hardware is a lie. Apple does (did) the same crap but the difference is an iphone costs exponentially less to replace. If different hardware really made that much of a difference then microsoft 10 wouldnt be able to run on a computer oroginally meant for xp. I just purchased a fully loaded 200c awd and im pretty upset I can't have android auto...hyundai just issued an update to some of their radios to add carplay and ford has been adding in features for vehicles 3 to 5 years old now...

I recently bought my first Jeep product and I've not been very impressed with their level of support. I too anxiously awaited the Apple Car Play update, ad, if they have now decided no to provide said update, then Jeep should at their expense replace my current hardware with the new compatible hardware to make good on their claims.

I want/need Apple support in my car. If I cannot get it in my 2015 Dodge Durango then I will find a suitable vehicle that can deliver on what I need.

I own a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that will not connect with my phone. Give me the ability to fix that myself if you aren't going to fix it.

Just bought my JGC a year ago and nothing has really worked on the uconnect system since I purchased it and there has only been one update to the software and that was to fix the potential issue of hacking the device. I run a 2007 imac at home and it has been able to update to the latest operating system for the last 9 years. I am smelling Class Action!

To spend this much on a truck and be coldly shut down on updates is unacceptable. Guess they want me as a customer only once rather than multiple times. Bad move.

Update the 2015!!!! We were told when we purchased the vehicle that it would be updated!
