Fathers rights to their children should not be taken from them unlawfully. "The liberty to direct the upbringing, education, and care of the child" is every parent's parental right. The purpose of this petition is to Unite fathers and educate them on their rights to their children. Many studies over the years have proven the importance of fathers in the healthy development of children. According to the US department of Health and Human services "Even from birth, children who have an involved father are more likely to be emotionally secure, be confident to explore their surroundings, and, as they grow older, have better social connections with peers."
