This petition is about the proposed demolishing of the well-known Halls Farm Stall outside Nelspruit. Although the stall in its current form is not a historical asset to the Lowveld, the legacy and landmark status is a sensitive and emosional issue for Lowvelders and tourists alike.
The building in its current form does not qualify for heritage status, but the significance is the fact that the origional farmstall was established 105 years ago. Even in its current form, which was rebuilt in 1990, the name Halls Farm Stall will always be instiled as a life long landmark in the Lowveld.
