The building in its current form does not qualify for heritage status, but the significance is the fact that the origional farmstall was established 105 years ago. Even in its current form, which was rebuilt in 1990, the name Halls Farm Stall will always be instiled as a life long landmark in the Lowveld.

Incorporate with the new design - a Casterbridge for Nelspruit - we can't keep killing everything with retail homogeneity, it is a terrible mistake.
It's part of history. Leave it as is.

Halls is a mid-journey destination; a holiday stop in itself for its different shopping options and the excellent restaurant. Close it and there will be a definite dip in local income from tourists and travellers on their way to the Kruger or back to Gauteng.
