Marriage is a lifetime commitment of one man to one woman. Every child deserves to be raised by a faithful mother and father. Our society has reaped huge benefits from solid marriages As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled by the effort under way to redefine marriage for our entire society. In order to save marriage, I urge our leaders in Congress to move quickly to pass the Federal Marriage Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In addition, when the Federal Marriage Amendment passes Congress, I urge my state leaders to move quickly to ratify the Amendment.
