Working on the front lines of Kuwait's healthcare system, our role as board-certified family physicians is extremely important in improving people's health and promoting public awareness. Our job requires advanced clinical skills and continued learning and development to provide high quality medical services to our patients. This is why we are requesting that Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization recognize the need to allow board-certified family physicians to do fellowships and clinical attachments of their choice in countries like USA, Canada, Europe, UK, or Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to receive the advanced training that will optimize our practices and improve primary care services in our country. We believe family physicians should be granted opportunities equal to other specialties and deserve the right to pursue fellowships that we consider relevant to our practice. Considering the significant role KIMS has played in the clinic training of physicians over the years, we would like their full support in this initiative and kindly ask for our request to be considered.

The Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization is finally waking up to the pressure we are putting on them. We have reached a point where they can no longer ignore the urgent need for fellowship opportunities for family physicians. Keep the heat on these bureaucrats until they grant us the same rights as every other medical specialty.

Highly needed for our development. We need sub-specialty paths in geriatrics and chronic disease management to match the international standards.
A truly important step that is increasingly needed especially with the increasing number of specialized clinics in primary care centers

Such exposure will upgrade the status of current service academically,technically and will aid the accreditation process.
Need followship program in : Diabetology Dermatology Psychiatry Women health
Family medicine specialist+ trainer in family programme...
I like to do followship for the change of practice and improve my skills
