Teachers are being asked to sign a contract that will decrease pay meaning they can pay whatever salary they see fit, increase hours workload and scope duties, eliminating Advance Placement Courses as well as a $5000 payout for breach of contract. How can teachers who are already stretched to the max sign such an unfair contract. If the board refuses to negotiate, then there is the possibility that our system will lose great teachers and our children will suffer. Let the county know that we will not stand for this! Let our teachers teach so our children can learn! This is RIDICULOUS and let’s tell them so.
