We, the undersigned, believe that each and every year the Alaska State Fair in Palmer always features specific MALE Alaskan performers in the main programs, and LULU SMALL is a 37-year Alaskan ICON , and a WOMAN, and is NEVER listed and she SHOULD BE! She has been one of the most popular entertainers in the state for over 37 years, (*she recently auditioned for "America's Got Talent") and we, her many faithful fans & friends, believe this is not only UNFAIR, but discriminating as well. LuLu is NOT a ''second-class act" and we demand the Alaska State Fair Marketing and Entertainment Departments correct this very unjust mistake NOW and include her in the main programs from now on as one of the state's most admired and respected ENTERTAINERS, along with the men (whom most by the way DO NOT EVEN LIVE in the state year-round...?!). Thank you for your support for LuLu Small...Alaska's First Lady Of Entertainment!

Lulu deserves more than a cheap $50 payment for her entertainment! She was the only local act to get a shot on America's Got Talent. Governor Sarah Palin called her Alaskas songstress. She has much more talent than many of the high paid acts. Also no travel expenses & she doesn't cancel at the last minute! .
Lulu Small is an Alaskan Legend and I am shocked & disappointed that she is not a headliner....The Alaska State Fair would be so lucky to have such talent!!

A very talented Performer, Lu Lu should absolutely be listed in the program. She was a HUGH asset in pulling of the Anderson Family Music Festival this year! Never would have happened without her! Thank You Lu LU!

Lulu is not "Small" potatoes! She is an incredibly talented performer, and deserves to be recognized as such.

Lulu is such a wonderful entertainer, I find it difficult to understand why she is not promoted by the Alaska State Fair in an equal fashion alongside her male counterparts. I have always checked my daily schedule upon arrival to look for Lulu's name in hopes of catching her act. Most every time, I am disappointed when I don't see her name. What is even more frustrating is I never see her in the main bill. I don't get it. This woman is a true Alaskan that has not departed our state, only to return for some stage time during the fair. Even though I do appreciate those that do come back year after year, I feel Lulu is just as important and ever bit as much of a draw. Please consider making her a featured bill right along side the likes of Irossi, Slone and Hobo.
