Due to her history of homophobic, biphobic, and racist remarks, we demand that the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh rescind their invitation to rapper and performer Iggy Azalea to headline this year's Pittsburgh Pride parade. We also take serious issue with the Delta Foundation's comfort with inviting a performer who so blatantly appropriates black culture as she does. Since we believe that any events associated with the LGBTQ community in Pittsburgh must be representative of that entire community, and not just those within it who are white, as is unfortunately so often the case, we call for the Delta Foundation to cancel her appearance at this year's pride parade.

The Delta Foundation is still ignoring our concerns about their headliner selection for this year. Call their office today and demand that they explain why they chose a performer with such a history of offensive remarks.

Seriously? There are so many better artists out there who actually support the community.
Horrifying that she would be chosen when there are so many other wonderful, respectful, and queer artists out there.
There is proof that Iggy Azalea has made racist and homophobic remarks all over the internet. It is utterly revolting that Pittsburgh Pride would select this artist to convey pride within the LGBTQ community.
How did anyone think this was a good idea? Pittsburgh Pride should be about inclusion not someone who mocks people.
DISGUSTING. Iggy has no place at an event that is supposed to be safe and welcoming for everyone. DO BETTER.
Pittsburgh deserves better.
I'm as straight as it gets, but this is ridiculous.
