Petition summary and backgroundThe FCC Definition for “basic broadband” is 4 Mbps downstream; 1 Mbps upstream;
We are tired of dealing with unreliable, spotty and slow outdated Internet service,(running on old patched copper wires implemented over fifty years ago running 0.0 Mbps to 1.5 Mbps while the surrounding area roads have access to Cable and Fiber Optics for internet,phone and TV service .
We intend to deliver letters to local providers, the FCC, IRP Coalition, as well as select state and county governments to implement the needed changes.
Action petitioned forWe, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge Comcast, Verizon and any other provider that is currently servicing the surrounding streets and area to act now to provide FAIR ACCESS to all.
