Facebook have forced Soapy to change his name online to John. This is outrageous and an attack on Scottish Soutars everywhere. Down with that sort of thing....... Careful now.... We shall not be moved and all that jazz
The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond my initial expectations. It is clear that many people recognize the injustice of forcing Soapy to abandon his name. We are now preparing to bring these concerns directly to the attention of the platform.

A few days ago I awoke with a chill, I didn't know what it was at first. Colours seemed less vivid and food tasted bland.
I logged on to facebook and the only difference I saw was that the once great Soapy Soutar had been reduced to some pencil pushing bore called John. It must end,

This is a disgrace!!! I've lost my husband and had him renamed as someone called John, who I don't even know.

A "free to all" social media site of supposedly casual disposition should not create obligatory rules that make playing with others conditional under some 'game masters' dull shirt and tie rules.
