Friends of Flabby Hoffman including he know him only by the name Flabby Hoffman. It is thereby ordained by common usage since the exclusive use of said name in 1992 that said name Flabby Hoffman is official and of authentic identity and thereby conforms to the Facebook usage policies and we presume that such account suspension had been done in error.

Facebook clearly thinks they can erase identities based on some absurd corporate whim, but they have no idea what they are up against. This momentum proves that people are done tolerating these ridiculous shadow bans. We are going to keep the pressure on until they rectify this garbage decision.

this decision was obviously made by a non human, or someone attempting to replicate one. Give this Chicago icon back his page, he's used it to do more good for his fellows than anyone could hope for.
You're Flabby Hoffman. At this point, I can't believe that's not the name on your ID. Come on, Facebook -- your real-name policy does more harm than good to artists and performers and their fans, not to mention trans people who adopt new names that better reflect who they are. Revise this policy -- it's harmful.
My Facebook News Feed is becoming full of names I don't recognize! If I know my Friends by: Happy, Thistle, Etherea, Flabby, Love etc. - and the public uses said names to converse with them on a daily basis, what is the issue? I can't find friends to tag them anymore, and I must look at photos to know who people are, silliness! Keep Flabby, Flabby -- I bet even his mother calls him Flabby!
Flabby Hoffman is a Chicago institution! Please don't dishonor him by taking away his account!
Most people who work with him are unaware that he has a name other than "Flabby Hoffman".
Where's the freedom of speech Facebook?

You have restored the accounts of drag and burlesque performers by their stage names...this is deeper than a stage name. This is his personality.
