Albemarle High School is the only school in Albemarle County that doesn't have an hour of free time everyday. Studies show that giving students more free time will help them pay attention more in class. The possibilities of activities in CHAT are endless. Having one more day of CHAT will allow students to join more clubs, have more time for homework, and get more help from students and teachers.

The administration at Albemarle High School continues to ignore the basic need for time that every other school in the county already provides. I am hearing from so many of you that the lack of CHAT time is burning you out and hurting your ability to succeed. We are not backing down until they address this blatant inequality.

i have way too much homework on the weekends and this would help me get caught up
we really need this because the workload is getting crazy lately and i cant keep up with all my classes
YES PLEASE. monday is the hardest day to get through as it is.
i just need to finish my lab reports and this would give me the time to do it #ahs
this is a great idea because if i need in a class or speak with a teacher or even extra time to study, this helps me, especially because i don't take a study hall.
