I would like to ask for your support in signing a petition to place Dr. Robert F. Wright as a candidate for Examiner with the American Board of Prosthodontics.
I have known Robert going back to our concurrent years together as general and maxillofacial prosthodontic residents at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. Robert actually completed two years of maxillofacial prosthetic training finishing as a Virginia Kettering Fellow. He then went to the Prosthodontic Department at Columbia where he also initiated a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Let me list just a few of Dr. Wright’s accomplishments:
·Director of Division of Prosthodontics, Columbia University
·Director of Postgraduate Prosthodontics, Harvard University
·Evaluator for accreditation for Undergraduate and Postgraduate prosthodontic programs
·Current Professor and Chair, Department of Prosthodontics, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
A high percentage of Dr. Wright’s residents have won research competition awards, become board certified, and contributed to the literature. As an Examiner, Robert has not only impeccable credentials in prosthodontic education, but he is very supportive of the specialty of prosthodontics and the role of maxillofacial prosthetics within our specialty. Please consider adding your signature to support Robert’s nomination.

The American Board of Prosthodontics can no longer ignore the massive wave of support building for Dr. Wright. These leaders of our specialty know exactly who belongs in that examiner role and they are making their demands loud and clear.

Robert is so dedicated to his residents. He helped me immensely during my time at UNC. We need people with his vision on the Board.
THE BEST candidate by far. he has done so much for maxillofacial prosthetics. his record speaks for itself.

Dr. Wright was my mentor at Harvard. Nobody works harder or cares more about the future of this specialty. He is the obvious choice for this role.
