"We all being friends of Ray Cerullo for over 20 years, hereby insist that he be given any and all reasonable chances to recover from a severe trauma to his brain and body, and therefore that all measures of intensive care and life-support be continued for a period of 90 days to ensure such a chance for recovery.
We conclude that to discontinue life support IN UNDER ONE WEEK is preposterous, unscientific and immortal. We hereby demand that the purposed shut down of Ray Cerullos' ventilator and other life support measures on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 BE STOPPED. We endorse all legal and ethical actions to accomplish this goal. We furthermore endorse Ray's fiancee, Corinna Delmonico, to be installed as the decider of Ray Cerullos' medical case, with powers as well given in joint capacity to his friends: Greg Gomberg and Jason Lynn, with Mr. Lynn acting as medical advisor, given Rays claims of his mothers' dementia and given her terminal cancer status, we deduce she is not of sound mind to decide her sons' fate given as well that Ray Cerullos' father has seen his son only several times in over four decades and has had no involvement in his sons' life, he too is therefore unfit to rule on Rays' life. We urge all authorities to take this matter very seriously and appeal to both reason and conscience, as we feel our friends life merits far more concern and far more compassion than has so far been given those responsible for it. Finally, we authorize any social workers, doctors, or other authorities to contact us for verifying opinions and identity."

Please allow for a comprehensive review of the facts of the case by the medical ethics committee and social services. Any permenant decisions should be delayed until proper investigations can be carried out and the appropriate decision makers, currently closest to and apprised of the wishes of the patient can express their concerns and desires.
I don't know Ray, but reading the circumstances it only seems fitting to grant his fate to his fiancé.
His sister said that he is conscious and indicating he knows what is going on. I believe he has a really strong potential of having a good recovery. Please give him the time to heal.
Ray was a client when I managed the band The Centimeters. A deep & passionate human being & phenomenal talent. PLEASE allot Ray the respect of 90 days in lieu that a recovery is possible & has happened in similar situations. God Bless you Ray. In our prayers.
Very sorry to hear about this...I've know Ray since the late 90's and I've seen him both in his struggles with alcoholism that brought him to this point...and also him in recovery where he was so helpful to others that have maintained their sobriety. Please give him some more time to recover...there's so many people that he has the chance to help by being alive. Thanks you.

Reason still exists when we are asleep or unconscious . Ray exists. His continued existence should not be bound to being able to act and to prove that he is a person by speaking or being conscious. Give his brain time to heal before making any materialistic identification of his existence. It's too soon to make an absolute judgement of his capacities .
