The government has officially approved the expropriation process for all registered dilapidated buildings. We are now shifting our focus to monitoring the implementation phase to ensure these properties are repurposed according to the new mandates.

I am currently organizing the documentation required to submit a formal request for expropriation to the department of public works. Several legal researchers have reached out to help draft the specific policy language we intend to present at the upcoming city council hearing.

All those hijacked building can be turned around accommodate students and many workers in the city, which will enable the city to generate revenue. RSA citizens do pay electricity and other municipal Levy's, compare to those who hijacked those buildings.

I support the removal of persons occupying state and private buildings illegally. The buildings must be renovated by private sector or state and eligable SA citizens must be housed in those buildings.

These buildings were built by hard working South African's and they once contributed to the economy of our country. Now they house people from other countries and are used to destroy our nation through drugs and human trafficking. Government is silent.

I totally agree with the fact that abandoned buildings must be lost to the state. They really promote lawlessness and deny a lot of our SAfricans opportunity to live near their workplaces!

I want may country back, hijacking of buildings is a criminal offence, justice must be done these buildings must returned to the rightful owners or be given to homeless South Africans after they have been revitalised
