I think we should put the student feelings first and foremost. In school, there are student that make fun of our names and it hurts. It is important that the school has a name that is not easily made fun off. The new JC has not had an aupicious start. The construction at Sin Ming Avenue has been delayed by 1.5 years. The holding site was moved from Bishan Street 14 to Mount Sinai. In terms of the school's name, I hope we can choose one that the students like. My suggestions are S Rajaratnam, Goh Keng Swee, Tembusu or Yusof Ishak Junior College.

Could consider a name which the students would easily associate with. A local name would better serve that purpose.

Except for the rare few academia , none will know the meaning and the relevance to the traditions and histories of the 3 esteemed schools. MOE - stop thinking up names that is advertising fluff without proper consultation and research. This is frog-in-the-well thinking.

Just simply irrelevant. Please follow the KISS strategy to rename the school.

Am a CHS old boy. No relevance to the roots of the 3 schools. Can't relate, emotionally and. sentimentally. Ignatius Low the journalist placed it most aptly with his article in Straitstimes.

I am an alumni and my 3 daughters are alumni of St Nics too. I have been invited back to speak at several occasions at St Nichs but with such a pretentious and ridiculous name for a JC, I know for sure my grandchildren will never be going there.

Trinity - 3 into 1 make the most sense name or Marymount sound good too. If you willing to hear feedback lah MOE. Mostly yayapapay if you change our mindset will change too.

How many times is MOE going to disappoint the students??? The failure to deliver the school had been a VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT to the students. Yet, there is another BIG SCREW UP on the school name to upset the students. This will not impact you who sits in the MOE Office. For the students, the school name will follow them for a lifetime. Can't you stand in the students' shoe to understand how they feel?!

Hear us hear the people. All we ask is a name thats more representative of the new JC and the 3 schools rich history! Not a name thats too fanciful and beautiful till no one can pronounce it!!

It's wise to think twice before we coining a name as the "tag" will be with there forever. Sincerely hope that the authority can kind or smart enough to reconsider the naming of the new JC. Amending or change for something better is not a shame, while Lim Swee Say can said "better, betterer, betterest".... why don't we choose another betterest name. Thanks

As a parent of a boy in this new JC, I am surprised and disappointed with the choice of this name Eunoia. It’s not a name that reflect the values and heritage of these 3 schools. They should have consulted all the students and parents of this new jc in finalising the name as we are the stakeholders. Once again, MOE has proven to be high-handed and aloof in its approach and dealings on the matters concerning this new JC. Another disappointment in the ongoing new govt JC saga.
