As of today, the average pay for New Zealand men and women is marginally different - women receiving only 88 cents for every dollar a man earns. Over the years there have been numerous protests and movements regarding the issue of pay equity. We want to take it a step further and write to the Prime Minister of New Zealand regarding this issue. But we need your help. John Key, the Department of Labour and the Minstry of Women's Affairs will read our letter, but it won't make an impact unless we have the nation behind us.
