Canadian women are being shortchanged on job opportunities and pay and it's making income inequality worse. Women get paid 79 cents for every dollar a man makes for the same job/equal work. The gender wage gap is sexist and unfair. Closing the gender wage gap benefits both employees and employers in helping to recruit and retain the best talent. It also helps promote equality and creates more opportunities for women who currently dont have as many as men. The gender wage gap is an ongoing problem for women with the same jobs as men because it makes it harder for women to have a sustainable life when they are getting paid significantly less. YEAH EQUAL PAY FOR EVERYONE
my wife works harder than anyone i know and she still gets less pay than her male coworkers. fix this
its 2016 how is this even still happening? so sick of getting paid less for doing the exact same work as the dudes in my office
finally someone is saying something about this. tired of being treated like im worth less money just bc of my gender
This is deadass a serious issue, i really dont get y they dont close the gap if theyre all about equality.
