I have spent my mornings sitting in my closet looking at my hoodies and jackets and questioning why I ever accepted these arbitrary divisions. Seeing your messages about your own clothing frustrations confirms that this fight for garment equality is long overdue.

Seeing so many people recognize that these articles of clothing deserve the same respect brings me so much relief. My closet has felt like a divided place for too long and it feels validating to know I am not the only one fighting this battle.

This is the best petition I've witnessed in a long time. Someone finally understands how discriminating it is towards jackets/sweatshirts to label them under pointless stereotypes.
